Dear Traveler, Since you wish to explore the continent of Eluan before you take your oath to the Twin Gods, I take it upon myself to write this letter with a list of the places that astonished me when I made a similar journey.

First of all, begin with Thamarya. People have written a lot about this magnificent city, but their accounts barely scratch the surface of its attractions and experiences. You’ll be greeted by Blue Capes, who’ll ask for your stay’s purpose.

Once inside, visit the Main Plaza, where you’ll find any merchandise you can imagine. I recommend you visit Mansol, who has one of the nicest collections of books and scrolls I’ve ever seen. When hunger sets in, visit one of the food stalls. I cannot forget the ramen I had there. An orc named Undur prepared it, and the taste still lingers in my imagination. If he’s still there, you must try it.

To finish the day, have a pint at Vik’s. It’s colossal, a tavern that attracts all kinds of people. Some of their cups are even bedecked with ethyx; that’s how prosperous Thamarya is. Whatever you do, don’t flash your money about. The Green Hand has a powerful presence in the city. At least, that was the case when I was there. And be careful at night. I remember I was heading back to my inn and saw weird humanoid shapes creeping in an alley. When I asked the innkeeper and told her about it she told me there had been rumours of rat-like people roaming at night.

The final reason for starting your trip in Thamarya is that you can get a boat or join a caravan to any point in Eluan. Since you’re already there, see the rest of the Lyrian Empire, and from there, you can head north to the Dwarven Kingdoms and the Urucan Wastelands. If you head in that direction, visit Dun Vung and Bolgrin; they are the Dwarven Kingdoms easiest to get to. Stop by the Iron Manor. It has the best dwarven cuisine, and the people are so simple and polite. As for the wastelands, their orc city-states are a must, especially Barbarois. Their fighting tournaments are a must! The sight of thousands of orcs shouting as warriors hack and toll at one another is indescribable.

When you’re finished there, take a flying sand manta and head up to the Frost Lands. I was there for a brief time, but their glaciers and frozen peaks are spectacular. My heart stopped when I saw their glorious blue colours, similar to your dear mother’s -gods keep her. But enough. I have rambled too much. I doubt you’ll have time to explore more regions, but if you do, bring me some souvenirs, maybe another copy of Cornelia’s Magnificent Account of Companions. My copy is terribly worn out. Please take care.

Best of luck
